Upon graduation from Wilfrid Laurier University my husband and I moved to Okotoks, Alberta and fell in love with it right away. I have always had a lifelong passion of helping people, keeping an organized and clean home as well as engaging in practices to nurture and sustain the environment. Furthermore, I have a constant desire to work independently and offer a service to others in order to better their lives as well as the world in which we live.
The development of Brighter Days was generated through extensive research and much discussion. In doing so, I found there was a market for the services of organizing, de-cluttering and simplifying one’s home and as a result their life. While keeping within not only my area of study, but also my passion and dedication to society, I have incorporated environmental and sustainable teachings and practices. My intentions are to work parallel with the Town of Okotoks philosophy of sustainability and environmental stewardship, while staying involved with the community in order to help recognize important values to both the community as a whole as well as individuals.
As a member of the Economic Development Committee and an assistant to the Sustainability Coordinator for the Town of Okotoks, I feel strongly about working and supporting the community as well as the Foothills Region. In addition, I understand and respect the privacy of others and will maintain, confidentiality and provide and an unbiased service.
